    BIO

Audiences came to know and love Biel during her stint on the family-friendly TV series 7th Heaven, but the actress parted ways with the show and its creators in 2000.

Anxious to break away from the good-girl image, Biel chose to pose topless in Gear magazine — never mind the fact that she was just 17 at the time. Her plan worked, and once the actress was freed from her TV obligations, she attached her name to edgier films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. She also claims that her image lost her a major role in American Beauty, which was later played by Thora Birch.

Returning to the show that gave her career its initial boost, Biel reprised her Heaven role in episodes leading up to the 2006 season finale.

The actress also starred with Samuel L. Jackson in the 2006 films The Illusionist and Home of the Brave.

The actress dated her Cellular costar Chris Evans from 2001-2006 and was also linked to 7th Heaven actor Adam LaVorgna during the filming of that series.

Biel and Justin Timberlake tied the knot in October 2012 after five years of on-and-off dating.

After performing on stage as a child, the multitalented Hathaway landed a part on the short-lived 1999 sitcom Get Real. Shuttling between college, the stage and the big screen, she showed off her effervescent charm in a succession of movies (including a Princess sequel) but abandoned her squeaky-clean image with her critically acclaimed topless turn in 2005's Brokeback Mountain as the wife of a gay cowboy.
