The New Art Center announces the opening of In Praise of Folly, an exhibition of assemblage artwork by Carol Blackwell and Gail Hansen in the Holzwasser Gallery. This exhibition takes ordinary objects and reinterprets them with whimsy and wit. These bodies of work explore the power of memory, association and imagination to transform discarded and forgotten objects and give them new life as art.
